How fast can you get a tarp on my roof?
Same-day in most cases across Manatee, South Pinellas, and South Hillsborough. Call (941) 896-7793 the moment you have a leak. Overnight calls are dispatched at first light unless conditions allow earlier safe access.
Will my homeowner insurance cover the tarp?
Most Florida homeowner policies cover emergency tarping after a covered loss like wind, hail, or hurricane damage. We document the damage with photos and provide an itemized invoice in the format your adjuster expects.
Do I need to be home when you tarp the roof?
Not necessarily. If you can grant access and the property is safe, we can complete the tarp without you on-site and send the photo report to your phone. We will call before, during, and after the install.
How long will an emergency tarp last?
A properly installed heavy-mil tarp typically holds for 30 to 90 days, long enough to file the insurance claim and schedule the permanent repair. Cheap hardware-store tarps stretched flat fail in the next storm. We do not install those.
Are you licensed and insured for emergency work?
Yes. Coastline is a Florida Certified Roofing Contractor, license CCC1331076, fully insured. Same license, same insurance, whether the call comes in at noon or midnight.
What if the storm is still happening?
We will not put a crew on a roof in active lightning, sustained high wind, or unsafe conditions. Call us anyway. We log your address, prep the dispatch, and get there the moment it is safe.
Do you charge a deposit for emergency tarping?
No deposit is required on tarping. We bill through the insurance claim where applicable, or invoice after permanent repair. You are not writing a check while water is still coming through the ceiling.
What areas do you cover for 24/7 emergency tarping?
Manatee County, South Pinellas, and South Hillsborough: Bradenton, Palmetto, Lakewood Ranch, Anna Maria Island, St. Petersburg, St. Pete Beach, South Tampa, Riverview, Apollo Beach, and surrounding cities. For larger jobs we travel statewide.
