Coastline is a locally owned, family-run Florida roofing company. We started with one truck in 2016 and built every standard the company runs on today: a crew checklist on every job, a photo report Josh reviews daily, and a schedule that never gets bigger than the work we can do right.
Josh Hildebrand started Coastline Roofing in 2016 with a simple goal: build a family-oriented roofing company that other Florida families could actually depend on. Ten years later, the company has put more than 2,000 roofs on Florida homes from Manatee County to South Pinellas to South Hillsborough, and the bones of the business have not changed.
What did change is the rest of the Florida roofing industry. Over the past five years, dozens of "local" roofing companies in Florida have been bought by private equity. The owner gets a payout, the corporate playbook moves in, and the homeowner ends up with a different sales rep, a different crew, and a different warranty backer than the one on the original quote.
Coastline is built to never go that direction. We are family-run today and we will be family-run when the next storm season hits. The standards Josh set on day one are the standards every job runs on now: every crew follows a detailed checklist, every job gets a photo report from start to final walk-through, and nothing gets signed off without documentation. Josh reviews those photo reports every day so quality stays consistent across the whole company.
We do not chase volume. We take the work we can do right, we honor our 5-year workmanship warranty, and we answer the phone when our customers call back two years later because the gutter is leaking after a storm. That is the version of a roofing company we wanted to build, and it is the only version we are interested in running.
